So, the end of the “Semester From Hell” is growing nearer and the excitement is exhilarating. I can’t wait for my Unit Planning to end, my History and Psychology exams to end and for my focus to be on my Field Period and working to get Noon out to Agents. I have learned over the course of this semester that being a teacher takes way more work than anyone understands. It’s absolute craziness and not what I want to do since my goal is not to be a teacher, but to be a Child-Life Specialist and Author. However, if this is how it’s going to get me to where I want to be… so be it.
Also, I’ve come to the point where everything truly does happen for a reason and we all need to believe that to be true. I can’t expect life to be perfect and I can’t hope for everything to work the way I want it to. Life is about taking chances and waiting for surprises to come to you instead of you looking for what you want. If something is meant to happen – it will no matter what. Whether there is a barrier in the way or something trying to stop you, if something is truly going to occur – it just will. If you want something so bad that it hurts, go get it.
Therefore, this is what I am looking forward to in the months to come:
– Getting Noon fully edited and out to agents
– Doing well at my Field Period
– Working-out five times a week
– Relaxing and reading books
I need to do what’s best for me. If someone or something wants to be a part of that happiness – it will happen.
